we must take care of our planet. humans for so long have polluted our environment with single use plastics, trash, and consumerism. the purpose of this shoot and issue was to raise awareness for how we are affecting nature and ways to educate ourselves to do better. we must reflect on our own lifestyles and continue to have conversations about climate change. it’s time for our generation to take action.

Furthermore, in light of recent events such as the BLM movement, we postponed celebrating WED because there are more important things occurring in the world. However, we still wanted to release the issue because the issues are related, and needed to spread the message that there can be no climate justice until social justice is served.
